milkmadeicecream:

Special ‘snaps for a special ‘scream. We’re gearing up for our October flavors of the month (TBA next week!) by chompin’ on some gingersnaps made by local bakers and friends, Baking for Good. We love working with Baking for Good and here’s why.
We’ve become friends with founder Emily Dubner over the years. She’s great.
They donate 15% of all proceeds to charity.
Their wares are legit, and when we collaborate, they are always willing to create special goodies for us. Like the mini snaps above. Or the rum balls for our Red Rum flavor of the month October 2011 (shown below).
We are hoping they’ll make us some of their super rad Instagrahams one day.

milkmadeicecream:

flavor of the day: Monster Mashour annual pb&j with all the right fixings - marshmallows, graham, and chocolate chipsOkay so imagine you took your childhood pb&j - the kind with the saccharine grape jelly and that not-at-all-natural peanut butter (we were Jif gals, ourselves) - and you had free reign to spruce it up with whatever you could find in your pantry. Well, we’ve taken that dream and made it a reality - in ice cream form, no less. Really, one bite and I felt I was a kid again.
Our reality is a bit more refined that the dreams of our youth — in our Monster Mash, naturally sweet concord grapes replace jelly, all natural local peanut butter from Saratoga PB Co replaces Jif, and our mallows and chocolate are the creme of the craft, hailing from Baked in Red Hook and Mast Brothers in Williamsburg, respectively. Pints are being delivered to our members this week.
